Gavin Jones, Principal Application Engineer, is responsible for performing simulation and statistical work for clients in the automotive, aerospace, defense, gas turbine, and other industries. He is a member of the SAE Chassis Committee as well as a member of AIAA’s Digital Engineering Integration Committee. Gavin is also a key contributor in SmartUQ’s Digital Twin/Digital Thread initiative.
SmartUQ is a powerful AI, Machine Learning (ML) and Uncertainty Quantification (UQ) software tool optimally designed for science and engineering applications. With new tools and improvements, SmartUQ 9.1 continues to deliver unique sampling capabilities, powerful machine learning tools, and easy to use analytics to help customers solve previously unsolvable problems.
SmartUQ principal application engineer, Gavin Jones, will highlight the latest capabilities and benefits in SmartUQ 9.1, including
- New ability to export SmartUQ continuous response models as FMUs (per the FMI 2.0 specification)
- PySmartUQ and SmartUQ Runtime Python APIs are now compatible with MATLAB
- Improvements to plots and user experience
